Hello and welcome!

I'm Adam, the network engineer and IT consultant behind PEC Networks. I've been working in IT my entire life, beginning with Nortel, then CIBC, and finally on my own as an IT consultant since 2003.

When I had the good fortune to get a spot for my cottager in a park near The Sandbanks, I was thrilled. Only after settling in would I discover how terrible my internet connection was.

While both my direct neighbors enjoy great signal, my site could not get a clear line of site or strong signal. Like mine, many sites in the park can't get a signal.

After 4 years and 3 internet providers, we still had slow, unreliable internet. It was negatively impacting our ability to work remotely (and enjoy Netflix).

So with park approval, I got started on building a network for anyone else in the park whose site can't get a clear line of site and good signal. And thus, PEC Networks was born!
